Friends of New World Symphony members enjoyed 30-minute â€œmini concertsâ€ from 8:30â€“9pm, featuring fellows speaking and narrating musical insight from the stage. Members then headed to Maxineâ€™s Pool Lounge at the Catalina Hotel for Symphony After Hours 9:30-1am, sponsored by Alan and Diane Lieberman. The unusually cold evening culminated with a sultry soul musical performance under the stars with a violinist paying tribute to the great Etta James. Guests listen to live bandÂ and enjoyed GREY GOOSE Vodka cocktails, glasses of Voga Wines and hors d’oeuvres from Maxineâ€™s Bistro and Kung Fu Kitchen & Sushi.
