New World Symphony Mini Concerts and After HoursSaturday, February 11, 9:30pm-1am – Maxine’s Pool Lounge at the Catalina Hotel, Miami Beach

Friends of New World Symphony members enjoyed 30-minute “mini concerts” from 8:30–9pm, featuring fellows speaking and narrating musical insight from the stage. Members then headed to Maxine’s Pool Lounge at the Catalina Hotel for Symphony After Hours 9:30-1am, sponsored by Alan and Diane Lieberman. The unusually cold evening culminated with a sultry soul musical performance under the stars with a violinist paying tribute to the great Etta James. Guests listen to live band and enjoyed GREY GOOSE Vodka cocktails, glasses of Voga Wines and hors d’oeuvres from Maxine’s Bistro and Kung Fu Kitchen & Sushi.
