Maitardi will serve its last pizza February 11th, as the Design District Italian outpost shuts its doors. Opened by the Graspa Group (Segafredo, Salumeria 104, Tiramesu, Spris) in 2009, Maitardi is closing as DACRA reclaims the space in advance of the area’s expansion. Come for artists, music, a proseco bar (7-9pm) and amuse-bouches from sister restaurants Salumeria 104, Soyka, TiramesU, Spris and Van Dyke Café (7-8pm). 7-9 p.m. There will also be live music, DJs and a projection of past event pictures and videos to remind you just how great and unique a venue Maitardi is/was. It’s open to the public, but RSVP is a must.
