This show brings together the creative works of (7) noted conceptual artist’s all tackling the ever-intoxicating allure of candy and its dominating hold on our society. From hand-carved wood block illustrations and sugar-sweet candy wrapper vignettes, to hyper-realistic confectionary paintings and mouth watering mixed media sculptures; Sugar Rush, tackles issues of childhood nostalgia, sexuality, war, aggression, the loss of innocence, and obesity.
