The beloved BubbleQ has been replaced by a retooled, exciting new event, Moët Hennessy’s The Q presented by Allen Brothers Steaks, sponsored by MIAMI magazine, hosted by Emeril Lagasse and Guy Fieri. The Q kicked-off the South Beach Food and Wine Festival in style. At the forefront of this new event was a collection of the best BBQ chefs from across the nation, preparing their signature dishes. Few of the dishes presented were the Eggs Benedict with beef by Chris Lilly, huge ribs from Emeril Lagasse, and seafood from Masaharu Morimoto and many more outstanding chefs. A new addition to the event: Moët Hennessy’s The Q After Dark, 10 PM to 1 AM, where guests could dance the night away while sipping delicious cocktail concoctions prepared with a full-bar of spirits from the Moët Hennessey USA portfolio. Author of The Modern Mixologist, Tony Abou-Ganim, made sure the drinks flow. Ardbeg, “The Ultimate Islay Malt,” partnered with custom motorcycle builders, Orange County ChoppersTM (famed for their show on TLC) to create distinctly crafted Ardbeg Choppers, one of which will be auctioned off to benefit Florida International University’s School of Hospitality.
