A Gala for Three Artistic SensationsThursday, March 1, 7pm – Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts Ziff Ballet Opera House, 1300 Biscayne Boulevard, Downtown Miami

Miami City Ballet, in collaboration with The Cleveland Orchestra, will present the World Premiere of Symphonic Dances by Alexei Ratmansky as three artistic sensations come together for one spectacular evening of music and dance at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Symphonic Dances, by world renowned choreographer Alexei Ratmansky, with music by Sergei Rachmaninoff; Tito Muňoz, Conductor, heads the program that also features Carnival Overture, music by Antonin Dvořák; and La Valse, choreography by George Balanchine; music by Maurice Ravel. This historic one night only event brings together two of the world’s most acclaimed companies in dance and music, and one of the most talented choreographers working today, in celebration of Miami City Ballet’s 26 years of artistic excellence. It will be an unforgettable tour de force, showcasing the artistic strengths of Alexei Ratmansky, Miami City Ballet’s dancers and The Cleveland Orchestra’s musicians – artists who are at the heights of their careers. Gala tickets are $1000 each, which includes prime orchestra seating followed by a celebration dinner dance on the stage of the Ziff Ballet Opera House. Tickets to the performance only range from $25 to $170. Grand Honorary Chairmen are Harriet and Henry Pownall. Gala Chairs are Margaret Eidson and Bobi Eroncig.
