Tuesday, March 6, 6:30pm – Alliance Française Miami, 618 SW 8th Street, Miami
Following an exchange between the University of Miami School of Architecture and the Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Architecture in Nantes in France, students have come up with innovative ideas to overhaul one another’s cities. In both cases, these projects were based on new and refreshing views, such as an aquatic park along the Metrorail in Downtown Miami and a neighborhood which integrates recycled factories with urban agriculture along the Loire river in Nantes. The exposition will present the designs, drawings, plans, photographs and models illustrating the cross border viewing by the students in both Miami and Nantes. Free admission
