In an effort to give the cannabis community an opportunity to safely connect, engage, learn and grow; Durée & Company, Inc. has organized the virtual panel discussion, “USDA Final Rule for Hemp Production: What Does This Mean For You?,” hosted by Cannabis LAB (CLAB). The panelists will discuss how this rule will impact different facets of the cannabis industry, as well as speak to the trending cannabinoid, Delta-8 THC.
The USDA’s final rule surrounding hemp production regulations went into effect March 22, 2021. In short, the program provides requirements for maintaining records about the land where hemp is produced, testing the levels of total Delta-9 THC, disposing of non-compliant plants, licensing hemp producers, and ensuring compliance under the new program.
Durée Ross, CEO of Durée & Company, a public relations, marketing and special events firm that serves many clients in the cannabis, hemp and CBD industries; will moderate a panel of experts. The panel will weigh in on the new USDA hemp rules, and provide participants with key takeaways to keep them current with the regulations.
The panel includes: Masha Belinson, corporate development with ACS Laboratory; Dustin Robinson, founding partner of Mr. Cannabis Law; Ricardo Alvares, regional director of South Florida for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS); and Jason Navarrete, CEO and founder of Pure Craft CBD.
