Join the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU for the opening reception for two exhibitions on Mexican photography, Becoming Mexico: The Photographs of Manuel Carrillo, an exhibition on Mexican street photography from the 1950s-70s, and Possible Worlds: Photography and Fiction in Mexican Contemporary Art, which features nine contemporary, Mexican photographers who delve into alternative worlds and document their imaginations rather than the natural world. The exhibition has been organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation, and the Mexican Cultural Institute in Miami. Guests can enjoy complimentary drinks during the opening. Complimentary parking will be available for all guest in the Blue Garage â€“ 3rd floor and above.
