Saturday, April 14, 11am – Bayside Marketplace, 401 Biscayne Boulevard, Downtown Miami
Bayside Marketplace will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a day of family activities, food and wine tastings, cultural performances, prizes and a fireworks show. City of Miami Mayor Tomás Regalado and Commissioner Marc Sarnoff will be on hand for the festivities, which include a series of dance, theatre, and musical performances that highlight international cultures, performed at different stages located through the marketplace. For children there will be a carousel, train and pony rides free from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. There will also be clown, face painting, and balloons in Banyan Park. Making special appearances throughout the day are Bayside neighbors Bernie and the Miami Heat Dancers, as well as The Extreme Team. Bringing the night to a close, there will be a boat parade and a thrilling fireworks show beginning at 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
