Giraffas Brazilian Steaks & Burgers a fast casual dining concept founded by Carlos Guerra, with a vibrant dÃ©cor and cheery colors, revolving menus display boards, TV screens and an open kitchen is opening its second location at the Shops in Midtown â€” the first US location opened at 1821 NE 123rd Street, North Miami Beach. This is not the Rodizio-type all-you-can-eat meat Brazilian restaurant. It offers a menu of American dishes such as burgers, steaks, chicken, shrimp and pasta dishes with a Brazilian twist. There is not just high-quality Brazilian cuts, such as Picanha and Maminha, they come with Brazilian spicy sauces; you will find pastas with Strogranoff sauce, commonly served in Brazil, Quinoa salad and Brazilian Farofa, and desserts such as the typically Brazilian Petit GÃ¢teau. Giraffas even offers a selection of beers, including Itaipava Brazilian beer. Portions are generous and range from $8 for a Picanha meat burger with fries to $15 for salmon dishes.
