Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. will be hosting its 6th Annual Starfish Luncheon presented by Wells Fargo on Wednesday, May 9th at the Signature Grand. The luncheon will begin with a silent auction at 11 am, followed by the program at 12 noon. Individual luncheon tickets are $80, table sponsorships are $1,500, and journal ads start at $75. Proceeds from the event will provide critical services to families affected by domestic violence. The event will be co-chaired by Gale Butler (AutoNation, Inc.) and Jen Klaassens (The Wasie Foundation) and will honor supporters who have made a difference one person at a time, as well as, a survivor of domestic violence who has overcome obstacles in his or her life and is a positive example to others dealing with domestic violence.
