2nd Annual Seminole Okalee Indian Village Pow-Wow

2nd Annual Seminole Okalee Indian Village Pow-Wow May 11 – 13, 10am-7pm – Seminole Okalee Indian Village at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood

The 3-day Seminole Okalee Indian Village Pow-Wow will showcase the rich history of the Seminole Tribe, as well as the Kiowa, Comanche, Lakota, Chippewa, Oneida, Cherokee and Cree. Enjoy exhibition Pow-Wow dancing and competitions, wildlife and snake shows, a Native American crafts marketplace, traditional food and lots more. The festival is open Friday & Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. At noon each day enjoy traditional pow-wow dancing, accompanied by Southern Drums from Rose Hill and Northern Drums from Mandaree. At 8 p.m. on Friday & Saturday, you can watch the Freestyle Alligator Wrestling Competitions, a spectator sport that rivals any contact sport. A wide range of Seminole Indian and other Native American vendors will be selling handmade Native American arts and crafts inside Hard Rock Live, and freshly prepared traditional Seminole Indian food will be available at the village. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (55+), $6 for children 5 to 12, and free for children ages 4 and under.
