We all know Italian mothers have a special way around the kitchen and Mama Cea of Café Prima Pasta is no exception with her traditional award-winning cuisine, which for the last 19 years has made celebrities such as Matt Damon, Lenny Kravitz and Dwayne Wade regulars of the family owned and operated restaurant. Prima Pasta will be celebrating Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13th, with their regular menu plus some new dinner specials including Shrimp Risotto ($28), succulent rock shrimp served over a bed of saffron risotto; Lobster Linguini ($38.95), tender Florida lobster served over made-to-order linguini; Ravioli Porcini ($24), perfectly puffed pasta pockets stuffed with delicate porcini mushrooms in a truffle sauce; Tuna Tartare ($18), finely chopped, sushi-grade tuna served with perfectly ripened avocado and topped with fresh lemon and zesty herbs and spices. Early bird families can enjoy 50 percent off regular menu items from 4 p.m. to 6p.m. In addition, a chef’s early bird Seafood Linguini special will be available for $18.95 from 4 p.m. to 6p.m. Free-flowing champagne and long stem roses will be hand delivered to mom throughout the evening.
