Haitian Heritage Museum presents Haitian Heritage Month, a nationally dedicated time in May where the Haitian community celebrates the culture and traditions of Haiti. The celebration is an expansion of the Haitian Flag Day held on May 18th, a major patriotic day in Haiti and the Diaspora created to encourage patriotism. In celebration of Haitian Heritage Month, Haitian Heritage Museum will present a new exhibition entitled “Natif”, featuring paintings from its private collection of primitive works by various Haitian artists.
