Paraiso Miami Beach Fashion Fair 2020 created a hybrid platform for swim week as the industry shifts call for change, encompassing both physical presentations and digital platform.
Alongside industry leading brand partners, Beach Bunny, Acacia, Vitamin A Swim, Luli Fama, Agua Bendita, Maaji, and Verde Limón, Paraiso engaged with a highly sophisticated, and creative technology partner theCxn for its new virtual showrooms, who will be supporting in unique ways, helping brands sell their collections in a more creative and visually immersive way.
Paraiso offers a digital platform and marketplace focused on new business opportunities for brands, and boost the visibility of their Resort 2021 Collections by activating commercial contacts in order to generate new orders. The service will be operational from August to November.
Retailers will be able to schedule virtual appointments, shop from curated collection videos, and truly connect and engage with brands from anywhere. Through designer introduction videos, shoppable runway presentations, and virtual rack with cross-merchandising capabilities, exhibitors will better communicate all the facets of their brand identity and provide buyers with a unique experience.
The second annual Paraiso UpCycle Designer- Student Challenge and Mentorship Program focused on raising the awareness on the importance of sustainable practices in the swimwear industry is already in progress, and final looks by five winning students were presented on Thursday, August 20th.
PARAISO kicked off with the special evening and dinner presenting Silvia Tcherassi Resort ’21 Collection celebrating the bohemian spirit and essence of Coconut Grove, a waterfront Miami neighborhood where designer lives. #PARAISOMB @paraisomiamibeach

Friday, August 21st, events started with the debut of Vitamin A’s Resort/Spring2021 Collection with Paraiso Miami Beach’s Digital Hub showcasing an “of the moment” runway video composed of user generated content (UGC), the new line is showcased through the lens of Vitamin A’s loyal customers – real women, each in their own element. Followed by a live shopping hour with Stitch Lab Marketplace at The SLS Hyde Pool that was digitally streamed. Viewers learned styling tips and got to know and shop Maygel Coronel, and other talented Latin American Designers. After the live shopping hour, Beach Bunny Swim presented a fluid collection showing Resort ’21, but also presenting many best selling pieces from their current season making this runway a perfect model of the see now buy now show. The evening ended with Agua Bendita’s in-person and live-stream viewing of the Tressors/Resort 2021 collection.

Luli Fama showcased their anticipated 2021 Collection “DIOSA” at Paraiso Miami Swim Week 2020 on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020. Inspired by empowered, bold and sophisticated Luli Babes, the “Diosa” collection includes an assortment of daring and show stopping looks such as the brand’s signature styles and ultra-modern designs accentuate a women’s figure, while lending a chic fashion statement to any summer wardrobe. Staying true to Luli Fama’s DNA, the collection offers vibrant hues, lively metallics, sassy animal prints and femine floral motifs. From flirty bandeaus to sexy triangle tops and cheeky Brazilian Ruched and high- cut bottoms, each piece was made to be mixed and matched, allowing customers to select specially designed looks and highlight her best features. Along with the new assortment of stunning swimwear, customers will be introduced to the brand’s fashionable, comfortable and elevated resort-wear collection. The ready to wear cover ups and clothing, are designed to complement the swimsuits, while being versatile enough to be worn day or night and for any occasion.
On Sunday, August 23rd, Colombian Swimwear Brand Maaji debuted their newest collection, Sacred Fauna, Spring 2021 at Paraiso Miami Beach 2020. To celebrate the world’s jungle wonders, Maaji’s Sacred Fauna collection goes back in time, entering a Sacred Fauna full of diversity, colors, and mystical animals. The designs are inspired by nature, the jungle, and it’s unique animals, a tribe that takes care of the sacred fauna. The show featured body inclusive models of all shapes, sizes, genders and races.
