The 2nd Miami Turkish Film Festival Brings The Wonders Of Eurasian Cinema To The Tropical Paradise Of Miami. The Turkish Film Festival is expected to be a revolutionary event, brining the true art of Cinema to the tropical paradise of Miami. The FREE three-day festival will kick off on May 29th thanks to the generous offers on behalf of the Turkish Minister of Culture with the presence of Mr.Dr.Abdurrahman Celik (Ministry of Culture and Tourism – Director of General Copyrights ) and Pinema, as well as the collaborative efforts on behalf of the Istanbul Center Miami and the Miami World Cinema Center. Throughout the three-day event, six incredibly diverse and entertaining films will be showcased, creating the perfect cultural experience. Kicking off the theatrical experience? Last Stop Kurtulus, a dark, scandalous and entertaining plot filled with plenty of twists, turns and female empowerment that’ll keep the audience at the edge of their seats. To finish off the night, a Ladies Night after-party will be hosted at Queen Lounge, located at 841 Washington Avenue. The other films include the 2011 Cannes Film Festival Grand Prix winner, “One Upon A Time In Anatoliaâ€, the blockbuster hit comedy “Eyyvah Eyvah 2â€, “God Faithful Servant: Barlaâ€, a controversial religious animated film and “Lost Songs Of Anatoliaâ€, an exquisite documentary on music. To wrap up the three-day cinema extravaganza, a traditional Turkish Party will be held on Wednesday, May 30th, at the Emanu-el Temple in South Beach in celebration of the Turkish culture.
