Café Sambal, the casual waterfront restaurant at Mandarin Oriental, Miami, announces a new sushi menu by talented Chef Wing Wong. The new menu offers a modern twist on the ancient Japanese art of sushi and is available for lunch and dinner. Chef Wong has elevated the sushi menu with an exciting array of specialties. Among the new special dishes are Sake Marinated Drunken Shrimp in a spicy lime sauce, Riceless Tuna Maki with cucumber and Hamachi Negi with a slice of hamachi belly, ginger and scallions. The new sushi rolls include a Tiger Roll with fresh cooked shrimp, sundried tomato, avocado, jalapeno and masago, the Tempura Dragonfly Shrimp Roll with avocado, masago, and bonito flakes and a Vegetarian Roll with asparagus, avocado, burdock, sundried tomato and cucumber. Among the all time sushi favorites are the Brickell Roll with smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber and soybean wrapper, a Sambal Roll with fresh water eel, avocado, crab meat and sesame seeds and a Spider Roll with Maine lobster, asparagus and avocado. The Sushi Bar at Café Sambal provides a stylish and relaxed dining experience. The restaurant also boasts waterfront terrace seating with unrivaled views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline.
