Join Leica Store for a gallery opening with Inti Pachurin. Says Inti of his project, “Since 2010 I have traveled throughout Peru photographing indigenous people in thousand of miles of Peruvian forest, desert, and Peruvian Andes. In the process I have reconnected with my Inca heritage and taken the name Inti Pachurin. In Quechua, the language of the Inca people, it means the Son of the Sun. As I met people I became deeply aware that the cultures were changing and might soon disappear. Pollution and climate change are affecting their sources of food. Fish disappearing from waters and the forest is getting smaller.
