Miami Visual Collective: “Works in Progress”

Miami Visual Collective "Works in Progress" Thursday, June 28, 7pm – Jorge Hulian Gallery, 5864 Sunset Dr., South Miami

Miami Visual Collective is group of professional image makers, based out of Miami Florida, sharing experiences, techniques, and knowledge,to promote each others strengths and call attention to their talents. This powerhouse cooperative of talent, drive and dedication to the visual arts, Miami Visual Collective is a group of highly specialized image makers who produce both still and video for advertising, editorial, documentary, and fine art projects. Just as Miami is the city of the future — a bustling, multicultural, white-hot art haven that always manages to make the news — the Miami Visual Collective represents an eclectic, diverse, creative pool for today’s rapidly changing image industry. This multi-lingual team of like-minded professionals is Miami-based, but with a global reach and world visual sense. Members have worked on six continents. They bring together talents photographing portraiture and fashion, food and beverage, action and automotive, aerial and underwater, studio and location with both digital capture and motion. Their bond was forged over many years. Realizing the synergy that existed, this group of independent photographers came together when they saw the value in collaboration was greater than its individual parts. Their group is about inspiration, support, and creative camaraderie. It will also serve as a valuable resource for the visual arts industry. The exhibit features works by Miami Visual Artists: Jorge Parra, Brian Smith, Sid Hoeltzell, Paul Morris, Cindy Seip, Alex Espriella, Joann Biondi, Matthew Pace, Jorge Cardenas, Jeffrey Salter and Lucrecia Diaz.
