The Frost Art Museum’s free monthly event series, Target Wednesday After Hours, will present This and That: Unconventional Selections from the Permanent Collection and Shared Threads: Maria Lino’s Portrait of a Shipibo Healer. This and That: Unconventional Selections from the Permanent Collection, curated by Klaudio Rodriguez, presents works which, at first glance, may seem somewhat unconventional, either through the artist’s treatment of materials or subject matter. These works, which can be complex, mysterious, irreverent or fun, will challenge you to reconsider their perceptions of what art is, to stimulate a response and question meanings. The exhibition will be on view through October 21. Target Wednesday After Hours is free and open to the public.
