The Coral Gables Museum presents: The Wines of Aix-en-Provence. A delightful evening of wine tastings, a lecture and virtual tour through the romantic history of the region. The events will use the focus of wine & spirits to explore the history and civilization of Sister Cities and to enhance your understanding and appreciation of their civic life. The Wines of Aix-en-Provence will include a wine tasting and lecture about the ancient Roman settlement that became the capital of Provence during the Middle Ages and has been an artistic and cultural center ever since. The lectures will be presented by Patrick Alexander who teaches wine appreciation classes throughout Coral Gables. During the evening the following six wines will be served: Rose de Provence Viognier, Beaujolais, Hermitage, Gigondas, and Chateauneuf du Pape. $20 per person, or $15 for Museum members.
