Back in the mid-nineties, South Beach was just getting it’s notoriety amongst the planet as a “go-to†destination for nightlife. In particular, there was one crew that helped put South Beach on the map. Tony Garcia (DJTonyG), Tommy Clark and Tony Bird Torrellio created NFA back in the early 1990′s and laid out the blueprints to how to throw a proper party in South Beach. The NFA crew hosted weekly parties at world famous venues such as Liquid, Bash, Bar Room, The Living Room and the Cameo Theatre, NFA was South Beach at it’s finest. Bringing in the freshest of DJ’s such as Jam Master Jay from Run DMC, Biz Markie, and Kid Capri and so many more in to rock the party’s. Those who were lucky enough to be a part of this era definitely were witness to the golden age of South Beach nightlife. Join on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Villa 221 for the inaugural NFA House Party hosted by the original NFA crew and legendary DJ Tom Laroc, DJ Elle, DJ TonyG and coming July 27 performing live on stage EPMD with a special 2 hour DJ set by the one and only Erick Sermon of EPMD.
