Celebrate Miami Beach’s new cutting-edge cultural venue, a flexible, outdoor multi-use space framed by Lincoln Road Mall, the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater, the Miami Beach Convention Center, and the New World Symphony’s New World Center (NWC) campus. As its name implies, this public area is about music, sound, art, culture, landscape and people. The 2 1/2 acre Miami Beach SoundScape features one-of-a-kind steel pergolas with a mosaic of meandering pathways that connects all corners of the space. Its open, grassy viewing area faces a 75′ x 100′ projection wall, the ExoStage, complete with a world-class audio system. After dark ExoStage will provide a canvas for video art, music, film and simulcasts of concerts playing inside the NWC. Parking is convenient in the Frank Gehry-designed Pennsylvania Avenue parking garage just west of the NWC. Opening is free and open to the public.
