Karen Ledbetter Galleries is  representing Jean Taylor’ art, a colorful artist from Turks & Caicos for the first time ever in America. Jean, a self-taught artist, is one of the featured artists in the “Island Fever”, and has been painting for more than 20 years. The subjects of her paintings are drawn from the islans’s beautiful natural heritage- their radiant clean, crystal turquiose waters, clear blue skies, gorgeous sunsets, underwater life, enchanting traditional houses, historic homes, Turks Head cactuses and award winning beaches. Jean works in oils and acrylics. Her colorful and detailed paintings are a definate ‘must see.’ Jean’s art reception on Friday & Sturday night, August 3 & 4th 7-midnight. Meet Jean in person; in this American debut, preview her art, while enjoying wine and h’ords d’oeuvres. The reception is open to the public and there is no charge to attend.
