Flame Caffé & Grill has spiced up the flavors of the American cuisine with a Miami style innovative twist. Centrally located on the historic Espanola way in South Beach, this place adds a sophisticated and alluring atmosphere sure to attract local residents and tourists for an incomparable dining experience. Guests can choose a place inside, by the bar or dine alfresco and bask in its touristic and flamboyant lifestyle that Miami has to offer.
Upon arrival guests are greeted with grilled rosemary focaccia served with a whipped white bean and garlic hummus. Appetizers include the Kirshed Pear Salad ($9). A fresh organic D’Anjou pear poached in kirsch with baby spinach tossed with a creamy raspberry vinaigrette, cherry tomato comfit, walnuts and gorgonzola cheese. The perfection combinations all served together in a salad. The next item adds a signature touch of Venezuelan cuisine to the menu. The Venezuelan Cheese Tequeños ($9) is a classic Venezuelan crispy cheese fingers served with spicy avocado and green onion sauce. Others appetizers include the Wild Mushroom Vol-au-Vent ($11), earthy mushrooms sautéed in garlic, herbs and white wine take up residence in a tower of puff pastry, served in a pond of mushroom cream sauce sporting a twirl of truffle oil. The Salmon Ceviche ($11) Diced Atlantic salmon, lemon juice, shallots confit, capers, chives, jalapeños and whipped cream cheese is beyond compare. Highly recommended for those who have affection for ceviche.
For the entrée, meat lovers would appreciate the Mandarin Skirt Steak ($26), a 14-ounce skirt steak marinated in mandarin oranges, herbs, merlot soaked mushrooms and pearl onions with sautéed spinach and goat cheese polenta. Seafood options also include the Grilled Salmon Steak ($19), a center cut Scottish salmon cooked medium rare, drizzled with Florida mango Dijon mustard beurre blanc over truffle risotto and tomato concasse. Which leads us to dessert, the Hot Chocolate Soufflé ($7) is served with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. If you love dark chocolate, this surely will not disappoint you. For an all American taste try the Caramel Apple Cobbler ($7). It is caramelized Red Washington Apples with roasted walnuts, Cinnamon and Caramel Sauce.
The full bar  includes international or domestic beers, signature cocktails made from premium and top shelf liquor or you can choose wine from their international wine list as well. Flame is open Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m to midnight and Friday through Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Flame hosts a daily happy hour from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m featuring 20 percent off the entire dinner menu and two-for-one cocktails, beer and wine.
