Aspiring artists participating in Inspire and Develop Artists (IDA) seminar and reality TV show, mentored by internationally recognized music producers Rudy Perez, Mark Hudson, David Frangioni and pop music star Jon Secada. For one night only, 12 singers and singer songwriters, carefully selected from hundreds of hopefuls to participate in IDA’s latest seminar will perform live at the Upstairs at Van Dyke under the watchful eyes of the industry’s most coveted music producers Rudy Perez, five-time Grammy and 2010-2011 Producer of the Decade Award winner with over 300 top 10 songs; Mark Hudson, two-year judge on VH1 Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp, star on X-Factor UK and producer of Celine Dion’s best selling album; David Frangioni, award winning producer, engineer and technologist with 65 Gold and Platinum records; and at last but not least, international pop superstar Jon Secada. Inspire and Develop Artists (IDA) created this seminar to find and nurture singers and singer songwriters with the help of the best producers in the music industry. The seminar is also the base for a reality TV show that will be shopped to major TV networks. “This is not American Idol, it is a boot camp star-machine,†explains Willy Perez-Feria, Director of IDA. The live performance at Van Dyke is a component of the seminar to gage the artists’ synergy with a live audience. The standard admission fee of $5 will be honored for this show and a special impromptu performance with the “mentors†is expected.
