Miami Spice is making a welcome return in August for the first time since 2019. This popular restaurant promo never happened in 2020 – it was mostly take-out, because restaurants were closed or had limited space. It runs from August 1 through September 30 this year, and offers prix-fixe deals on brunch, lunch, and dinner in restaurants in Miami-Dade County. It has listed 114 participating restaurants, down from more than 200 in 2019. 114 restaurants are more than enough incentive to get us to dine out again.
Prices are up this year, no surprise since the restaurant industry was so affected by Covid. But still reasonable: Lunch starts at $28 per person, up from $23 in 2019, and $42 for diner, up from $39.
