The gallery at Bang & Olufsen Miami Beach is proud to present photographer and writer David King as the latest featured artist in our showroom located in the heart of South Beach. David King has traveled extensively throughout five continents and has brought a selection of work to our gallery that promises to take the viewer on a journey as well. His photography sits on the boundary of fine-art and photojournalism, his compositions exploring the line between the exotic and the familiar, the ambiguous and the concrete. A writer as well as a photographer, Mr. King’s work seeks to find and tell the stories hidden around us and his photography engages the viewer’s imagination as much as it does their eye. Mr. King studied photography at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Wellesley College and the New England School of Photography. He has had his work shown in galleries across the United States, in 2010 was selected as one of the “Hot New Pics†artists by the Midwest Center of Photography, and he has, on multiple occasions, had his work selected by The Worldwide Photography Gala Awards for international publication.
