Dining & Nightlife Festivals & Fairs Food & Drinks In the Spotlight Miami Beach

3rd Annual LUCKYRICE Feast

3rd Annual LUCKYRICE FeastFriday, November 30, 7:30–11pm – SoHo Beach House, 4385 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach

With a spotlight on Asian-inspired tastings and cocktails from celebrated chefs and buzz-worthy bartenders, the LUCKYRICE Festival made its Miami debut at the SoHo Beach House, where tantalizing bites and drinks were spilled from the pool and tiki hut onto the beach and oceanside fire pits. Hosted by Susur Lee (Top Chef Masters) with Douglas Rodriguez (father of Nuevo Latino cuisine), the inaugural LUCKYRICE Miami event was a “Chino Latino” collaboration that celebrated Miami’s international fusion style. The Epicurean Cocktail Feast got together star chefs serving up 8 lucky culinary concepts coupled with 8 of Miami’s luckiest bars serving up Bombay Sapphire East and other cocktails and sparkling wines. In addition to celebrity chefs including Todd English, confirmed participants include swanky Asian hot spots such as Makoto, Hakkasan, Khong, Katsuya and Sushi Samba. On the cocktail front, mixologists include Elad Zvi from Broken Shaker, Cricket Nelson from Cooper’s and John Lermayer for Filthy Foods. Beyond food and cocktails, the experience did bring the sights, sounds and smells of Asia to the beach with performances by the Chinese jazz vocalist Le Zhang followed by tunes by DJ Mike Deuce.
