The iPic’s Ultimate Digital Industry Networking Event (UDINE) hosted an interactive, intimate session with Fabio Zaffagnini, creator of Rockin’ 1000 music video. UDINE is a grassroots ultimate networking experience series and think-thank where urban creatives, digital gurus, tech-hackers, hipsters, digital & IT executives and entrepreneurs gather to get inspired, learn and connect.
The evening featured Amanda Cifu, Florida Panthers Marketing Manager, and Fabio Zaffagnini, the creator of the Rockin’ 1000 movement – a crowd-funded event where 1000 musicians/volunteers played a Foo Fighters’ song, whose video went viral on YouTube with almost 30 million views. Rockin’ 1000 happened in small town of Cesena, Italy on July 27th, 2015, where 1000 Italian musicians played simultaneously “Learn to Fly” by Foo Fighters, to ask Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters to come and play in Cesena. As a result Foo Fighters performed in Cesena on November 3rd, 2015 in a small concert for all involved in this great movement. Inspired by Rockin’ 1000 success, Zaffagini hinted at more projects in the future.
