The James Royal Palm, the most anticipated hotel to open in Miami Beach this year, makes its official debut on November 15, marked by the unveiling of the new street-side sign on Collins Avenue. The sign’s “big reveal†will not only signify the arrival of this well-known brand to Miami, but also the reimagining of this landmarked Art Deco hotel. The James also has locations in Chicago and New York City. The opening ceremony took place on The Lawn, the front-facing outdoor social space unique to The James Royal Palm, and was followed by champagne and cocktail fete with food and drink by Florida Cookery, the hotel’s signature restaurant helmed by celebrated local chef Kris Wessel. Attendees were invited into the hotel, which was renovated to reflect the historic property’s glorious past as a South Beach icon by Lauren Rottet of Rottet Studio.
