Inaugural Florida BlueGreen Wildnight for Wildlife

Inaugural Florida BlueGreen Wildnight for Wildlife Saturday, November 17, 5-10pm – Saloon at “Alligator Ron’s” Green Glades Ranch, 21111 S.W. 16th Street, Weston

Wildlife Foundation of Florida and Alligator Ron hosted the Inaugural Florida BlueGreen Wildnight for Wildlife, a Florida Cracker-style Cowboy Gala. The unique fundraiser benefited ongoing youth outdoor programs to create the next generation that cares. Being held at the private Everglades ranch of 7th generation Floridian “Alligator Ron” Bergeron, the gala will establish an annual tradition of bringing Florida together to raise money and awareness to serve the state’s conservation and youth. Attendees enjoyed live entertainment by recording artist Monique McCall, music, a silent auction, authentic Florida Cracker Cowboy barbecue and drinks, prizes and more. Some of Florida’s most notable wildlife advocates such as Wild Kingdom’s Jim Fowler, author Harvey Oyer, Beau Turner of the Beau Turner Youth Conservation Center, and Florida Sportsman’s Adventures’ Captain Rick Murphy were in attendance, joining political figures, activists and notable conservationists from around the state.
