“Marcus, Beginnings & Ends” a solo-exhibition showcased a new collection of works that explore both surface and implied depth completed within 2009-2012. The medium of each piece consist of mixed-media on canvas as well as graphite on paper. 20% of the retail price sales will be donated to The Consequences Charity & Foundation.
Marcus’ career has greatly grown throughout recent years. He has placed work in prominent collections throughout the U.S. as well as Europe- including celebrities and NBA stars. His work has been shown in museums across the country, including the Boca Raton Museum of Art’s Annual Juried Competition Exhibition. Marcus’ paintings can be seen in galleries in New York, Denver and Dallas. His work can also be seen in nationally recognized publications as well as published competitions, such as Studio Visit Magazine.
The Consequences Charity and Foundation is a 501c (3) non-profit organization, founded by Lea Black, on a mission to provide educational resources and experiences for at-risk youth that include scholarships, vocational training, camps, workshops and after school activities encompassing dynamic curriculums that address culture, the arts, life skills as well as workforce preparation. The organization is working to support transformational learning in the form of prevention, intervention and in lieu of incarceration.
