Join Chefs Michael Schwartz, Bradley Herron and Hedy Goldsmith of Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink for Slow Food Miami’s annual Ark of Taste Fundraising Dinner, an elegant evening to champion our native ingredients. This year the dinner, Slow Food Miami’s largest fundraiser of the year, will celebrate the Florida Sea Grape and Royal Red Shrimp. Enjoy cocktails featuring Grey Goose Vodka and accompanying hors d’ouevres under the stars and overlooking the Kampong’s lush gardens. A seated multi-course dinner follows, supplied by Florida’s Bee Heaven Farm and Wild Ocean Seafood and prepared by Chef Michael Schwartz, Miami’s Farm-to-Table pioneer, along with his Chef de Cuisine Bradley Herron, concluding with desserts created by pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith, author of Baking Out Loud. A selection of Vinecraft wines from Whole Foods Market Coral Gables will accompany the evening. Tickets are $250 per person, and all proceeds benefit Slow Food Miami’s Edible Garden Program and the Kampong of the National Tropical Botanical Garden.
