The National YoungArts Foundation and actor, filmmaker and YoungArts alumnus Adrian Grenier will present a free screening of his documentary film, Teenage Paparazzo at the new YoungArts’ national headquarters in Miami. It’s the true story of the relationship between a 14 year-old paparazzo (Austin Visschedyk) and Grenier with interviews from people who understand both the perks and consequences of media exposure. Grenier offers an intimate look at paparazzi and the celebrity culture they serve and the way it influences this particular teenager and his family. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion at 8:30 p.m. and Q&A with Grenier, as well as an interactive art installation in the YoungArts Gallery related to the topics in the documentary, such as narcissism and celebrity obsession. Reception begins at 9. Art Installation will be on view through December 9. Limited seating, and reservations are required.
