James Beard Award-winning chef Susan Spicer of New Orleans will be the special guest of Slow Food Miami and Chef Norman Van Aken to unveil the Slow Food Miami Fountain in the Gardens and to celebrate Slow Food International’s Terre Madre Day. The evening begins with a VIP cooking class with Chef Susan Spicer, and each guest will receive an autographed copy of her cookbook, Crescent City Cooking. An exclusive food, wine and spirits experience in the Gardens follows where you can taste a variety of Chef Spicer’s recipes while sipping cocktails provided by Grey Goose Vodka and wine-pairings provided by Vinecraft. The party unfolds on Terre Madre Day, providing a fun-filled way to celebrate the culture of food. Tickets are $140 for the class, autographed book and food experience in the garden and $80 for the culinary experience alone.
