Jungle Island Glides into the New Year with New Outdoor Ice Skating Rink

Jungle Island Glides into the New Year with New Outdoor Ice Skating RinkThrough March 2, Jungle Island, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami

Jungle Island is starting a brand new tradition to kickoff 2020 in South Florida. Beginning January 2nd, park visitors can ice-skate in shorts and a t-shirt at Miami’s only outdoor ice skating rink, a NEW attraction located in the heart of a tropical jungle. The nearly one-acre long ice rink is made of real ice and is decked out in decorations, reminiscent of a Winter Wonderland. It is open for daytime and nighttime visitors.

Additionally, the popular eco-adventure attraction offers its guests the opportunity to stroll through an enchanting nighttime jungle filled with hundreds of giant, colorful and illuminated lanterns — shaped into exotic animals indigenous to Jungle Island, birds and flowers, marine life and iconic Miami destinations — during Luminosa Festival of Lights, which has been extended until February 9, 2020. Jungle Island partnered with the world’s top Chinese Lantern Festival designers to create this magical experience.

Ice skating rink open to the public day (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and night (5 p.m. to 10 p.m. during Luminosa.) Tickets are $49.95 per adult, $39.95 per child (3 to 10 years old), which includes daytime park admission, one-hour ice skating and skate rentals, along with access to Adventure Bay, over 350 animals, exhibits and shows. Jungle Island offers an unlimited ice skating add-on for an additional $15 per guest. #JungleIsland #AdventureIsHere
