New York City’s the EMM Group opened their first outpost CATCH Miami by Top Chef season three winner Hung Huynh at the James Royal Palm. The nearly 4,000-square-foot, two-story restaurant will seat 175, offer indoor and outdoor dining and be outfitted with high top cocktail counters, a cork-lined ceiling, oversized copper drum lamps and hand painted murals. Unlike the clear three-course model that defines traditional fine dining, the CATCH Miami menu, like that of its northern counterpart, features a more relaxed and social service model where food arrives tableside in a steady stream of shareable cuisine. Global influenced seafood spot will feature raw, rolled, cold, large sections and simply grilled dishes: the Crispy Whole Snapper, the Cantonese Lobster, the Crispy Rice Cakes and a variety of sushi rolls along with some newer dishes that incorporate local flavors (spicy tuna, cucumber and salsa verde).
