Multi-Sensory Art Social and Silent Auction at Miami Beach Botanical Garden

Multi-Sensory Art Social and Silent Auction at Miami Beach Botanical GardenTuesday, January 15, 6:30-9pm – Miami Beach Botanical Garden, 2000 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach

SALA celebrates 12 years of ASJ’s performances and arts. The name of the event, SALA, was chosen because it is an acronym for “Social Action, Local Arts,” which reflects ASJ’s vision to present local artists and artforms, and to use the arts to build community, to nurture dialogue about social issues, and to seek change through the arts. In Spanish the word “sala” also means a living room, a hall or a gathering place, where people come together for friendship and conversation. The guests of SALA are as important as the event — interesting, creative, and influential people from our Miami community. Prepare yourself for a multi-sensory experience at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden with art by our Artist Colony participants, Belly-Dancing and Arabic music by the esteemed Tiffany ‘Hanan” Modera and her troupe, as well as the most amazing selections of unique hors d’oeurves by none other than Tawanna Patrice of ‘A Taste Experience!’ There will also be an AMAZING silent auction with art work from the private collection of Roberto Guzman and Carol Hoffman-Guzman! The auction includes works by Florida and Colorado artists: Ed King, Debra Cortese, Ignacio Font, Chloe Firetto-Toomey, Paula Turk, Louis Recchia, Zoa Ace, Carol Hoffman and paintings/graphics by unidentified artists. Individual tickets are $75 online. For more info contact Lloyd Reshard at 786-309-1275 or
