Miami’s First Floating Cinema

Miami's First Floating CinemaSeptember 26 – October 31, 6pm-9pm – Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, 1200 Crandon Blvd, Key Biscayne

From the safety of your boat, you get a night out to enjoy a cinematic experience under the summer sky. Ballyhoo Media hosted the first boat-in movie adventure in July with “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” shown on a double-sided, 60-foot floating LED screen. Now, the floating cinema continues on Saturdays for six weeks from Sept. 26-Oct. 31.

First up is a fitting movie: Steven Spielberg’s “Jaws,” the monster movie that launched a thousand nightmares for anyone who was a kid in the 1970s. The other films in the series are “Finding Nemo,” “Moana,” “Jumanji,” “Halloween” (2019) and “Hocus Pocus” (on Halloween, naturally). Tickets are $50 per boat; $50 per table with a maximum capacity of six people for open-land locations. #ballyhoomedia #ballyhooboats
