In commemoration of National Wear Red Day, the American Heart Association, Macy’s and Siempre Mujer celebrated the Find Your Red shopping parties at Macy’s Aventura Mall. Women all over the country were able to purchase red clothing and accessories, while learning more about the Go Red for Women campaign.

María Cristina Marrero, Editor-in-Chief of SiempreMujer, hosted the fashion show in honor of Find Your Red while explaining the latest trends from different brands available at Macys. The runway looks ranged from daytime to evening dresses, all in an effort to promoting the color red as a symbol of Heart Health. Carlos Javier Aranzales, Horoscope Editor and astrologer for, gave one-on-one birth chart readings to the attendees who enjoyed learning about the horoscope and its meaning.

The goal of Siempre Mujer’s partnership is to create awareness in the Latino community about the importance of heart disease prevention. Macy’s & AHA have launched the Find Your Red campaign, which encourages women to wear red with style and creativity while promoting the importance of a healthy heart.
