South Beach Wine and Food festival kicked off in style with Moët Hennessy’sThe Q hosted by First Family of Food Network – Paula Deen her two sons, Jamie & Bobby Deen, presented by Omaha Steaks sponsored by MIAMI magazine. More than 40 of the top chefs from across the nation prepared their signature BBQ and BBQ-inspired dishes at this exciting event. The mouthwatering dishes were paired with cocktail creations from the Moët Hennessy USA portfolio, featuring Belvedere Vodka, Hennessy VS Cognac, Grand Marnier Liqueur and 10 Cane Rum. The Q took place in the same iconic setting as its predecessor the directly on the sands of South Beach behind the Delano Hotel underneath the white tents that are now ubiquitous with the culinary, wine & spirits world’s annual spring break. SUENALO, Miami’s favorite Latin funk fusion jam band kept the party grooving all night long. New this year was the presentation of two awards: The Omaha Steaks Award for Culinary Excellence and Kingsford Charcoal King of Q.
Back for another year was the Festival’s favorite after party, Moët Hennessy’s The Q After Dark with special guest chef Curtis Stone. Guests danced the night away while sipping delicious cocktail concoctions prepared with a full-bar of spirits from the Moët Hennessey USA portfolio. With Australian celebrity chef Curtis Stone at the forefront, the night was be filled with music, celebrities, cocktails and special bites from “down under.”
