BrazilFoundation, a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support social projects in Brazil, celebrated its second annual gala at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. The evening honored influential social investors and gathered over 400 leaders from the worlds of business, diplomacy, academia, fashion and art to generate resources for the community-led initiatives funded by the BrazilFoundation. Event was sponsored by Graff Diamonds, Credit Agricole and Carla Amorim. Beautiful models showcased Graff Diamonds throughout the evening, and select designs from Brazilian jewelry designer Carla Amorim were available for auction.
Television and radio host Pedro Andrade and actress Guilhermina Guinle were the evening’s masters of ceremonies. BrazilFoundation Honorary Chair Ambassador was Helio Vitor Ramos Filho of the Consul General of Brazil in Miami and event co-chairs were Daniela Fonseca and Maria Carolina Tavares de Melo. Rising international star Naldo, who recently toured with Fat Joe in Brazil, made his official US debut with a live musical performance.
