Juvia's SAVEURS DO BRASIL Brunch hosted by Lee Brian SchragerSunday, March 3, 12-2:30pm - Juvia, 1111 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach

Lee Brian Schrager’s Culinary Cinema opens with an unbeatable combination of French flavors (“saveurs”) inspired by Brazilian culture at a brunch in one of Miami’s most sought after restaurants, Juvia. Juvia’s executive chef Laurent Cantineau will host internationally acclaimed restaurateurs and chefs Erick Jacquin (La Brasserie, São Paulo), Frédéric Monnier (Brasserie Rosário) and Laurent Suaudeau (Escola Da Arte Culinaria, São Paulo) in preparing a selection of their signature dishes to be enjoyed on Juvia’s spectacular patio overlooking the beauty of South Beach. Immediately following the brunch, Eric Belhassem’s “Why Did You Leave?” will make its North American premiere. The fascinating documentary features Jacquin and Suaudeau, as well as their French contemporaries, Roland Villard, Alain Uzan and Emmanuel Bassoleil. The film highlights a group of exceptional French gastronomic chefs and their decision to leave their homes and rebuild their lives in Brazil, meshing their continental sensibilities with the rhythms of their new home. The film will show at 3:00 PM at Regal South Beach located across from Juvia and is included in the ticket price of $100 ($85 for MFS members). Brunch will served with a variety of Brazilian wines: Miolo Sparkling, Casa Valduga, Don Guerino Reserva Chardonnay, Perini Macaw Moscato, Perini Macaw Merlot.
