Enjoy an intimate dining experience in the unique and rustic setting of the Farm at Verde Gardens.Â Upon arrival guests will be treated to a progressive cocktail tour of The Farm, a 22-acre sustainable operation that is part of Verde Gardens. Dinner will take place inside the barn beautifully illuminated with hundreds of lights, where guests will enjoy the music of Stephen Mikes and a delectable 6-course dinner prepared by Miamiâ€™s up and coming chefs Aaron Dreilinger (Davidâ€™s Executive Catering), joined by host chef Jeffrey Brana (Tuyo Restaurant), using the best local, sustainably-grown foods, each course will be paired with local beers and wines. After dinner guest will enjoy dessert and a special presentation famed local historian, Dr. Paul George.
A selection of works from celebrated Miami artist MANOâ€™s â€œJuteâ€ collection will be on display and he will be on hand to talk about his unique art form that integrates different grades of burlap and raw pigments with other mediums.
This Dinner will benefit the ongoing operations of The Farm at Verde Gardens. Verde Gardens is a community of Gold LEED certified 145 townhomes, a market building, and a 22-acre Permaculture (beyond organic) farm. The Farm and its associated enterprises (commercial kitchen, cafÃ©, food distribution network) function as much needed economic development engine for South Dade, bringing employment, work training, and microenterprise.Â Reservations are $100 per person and include cocktails, tour, six course dinner presentation by Dr. Paul George, music and art expo by MANO.
