World Premier of “Eenie Meenie Miney Moe”

World Premier of Eenie Meenie Miney MoeThursday, March 7, 6pm – Olympia Theater, 174 East Flagler Street, Miami

The 30th Miami International Film Festival proudly presents the world premier of “Eenie Meenie Miney Moe” at the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts. “Do you know what I love about Miami?” a character in Eenie Meenie Miney Moe asks. “Everybody is dirty.” EM3 is about the hallucinatory dream the Magic City casts on three Miami men in their 20s as they find their ways – Raul, a tow-truck driver who jacks rides and delivers them to chop shops; Marco, a South Beach hotel concierge with an amateur drug business on the side; and Vlad, a valet with dreams of joining the Russian mob. Through the sleek sheen of Miami’s mean streets in the magic hour, booty-shaking good times, so-true-its-scary scenes of family life and the values of Miami’s young, a majestic vision of our hometown’s inner soul is brought to light. Jokes and co-writer J. Bishop spin drugs, sex, nightclubs, fast cars, and suegras into a spectacular, flabbergasting poetry. — Jaie Laplante  Show support for your local film makers, talent, and friends on this epic night; as they celebrate the success and craft of the local the community.
