Welcome to the 2018 Miami Sailing Week International regatta. For the 9th year, competitors from as far as Australia and as close as our own backyard will be among the numerous sailors that will compete in our annual event: Miami Sailing Week. MSW regatta is scheduled for March 5-11, 2018, with four participating one design classes: the Melges 24, A-Cat, M32 and Flying Tiger classes. They will be racing on the beautiful waters of Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove.
This event attracts more than 200 sailors each year from some 23 countries and the attention of national and international media. From award ceremonies, cocktail parties and cultural exhibits, the event will feature a week of activities gathering both the sailors and the local community. A number of local sailing organizations will put forth a collaborative effort to support the regatta. For 2018, the organizing committee is forecasting an increase in participation from local and international sailing enthusiasts.
The 91st edition of the Bacardi Cup Invitational Regatta is a cherished tradition that in 2017 celebrated its 90th birthday, and for 55 straight years has called the beautiful waters of Biscayne Bay home. The racing begins on Monday, March 6th with events scheduled daily through Saturday, March 11th. The event is dedicated to Tito Bacardi and his memory will be honored in several ways by the participants, the sailing community and the Bacardi family. #MiamiSailingWeek #BacardiCup #BacardiCupInvitational
