Galeria Adelmo is proud to present “Hemingway’s Cuba/ The Old Man and the Sea, a photographic exploration of the writer, Ernest Hemingway in Cuba. Hemingway spent one-third of his life in Cuba, living in Cojimar where the self-taught photographer, Raul Corrales also resided. Both men were to become celebrated for their remarkable talent. In 1950, Corrales produced a photographic essay on Hemingway, Cojimar and the Art of Fishing. In 1958 he photographed the filming of scenes for the film The Old Man and the Sea, based on Hemingway’s Nobel prize novel of the same name. The exhibition will be on view through August 27.
