Joe’s Seafood Shack is opening the doors to its new 320-seat restaurant on March 19 at 11 a.m. If the name’s got you a little confused, yes… the chain is nationally known as Joe’s Crab Shack, but the new restaurant is called Joe’s Seafood Shack out of respect for another restaurant in the neighborhood, according to a company rep. To celebrate the new restaurant, Joe’s Seafood Shack wants to give you crabs. The crabs, of course, come in the form of delicious edible denizens of the sea for which the seafood chain is famous. The first 100 guests on opening day will win free crab for a year. Each winner will receive coupons redeemable for one free bucket of snow crabs each month for a year.
