The 5th Annual South Beach Jazz Festival presented by Power Access will take place on January 8-10, 2021 at various venues throughout Miami Beach including the North Beach Bandshell, 1111 Lincoln Road Plaza, Euclid Oval, and the Lincoln Lane Courtyard. The festival takes pride in featuring world-renowned musicians who also have disabilities. The 2021 headliner is Matthew Whitaker, an 18-year-old, blind, multi-award-winning, internationally recognized, young jazz phenomenon. Other musicians playing the South Beach Jazz Festival include Roxana Ahmed, Javier Garcia, Rose Max & Ramatis Brazilian Quintet, Federico Britos, Jesse Jones and Troy Anderson and the Hot Five.
Most of the performances are free, open to the public, and outdoors. The event requires the audience to wear masks and practice social distancing. There will be safety ambassadors at all the events to make sure all safety protocols are being met. Also, the events will be live-streamed online and accessible to all. The sounds of Jazz will enliven the city all weekend long and draw people to this safe and sound event.
